With the population amounting to over 123 million people as well as a fixed line of the teledensity of over 18%, the Mexico’s fixed-line telecom industry has retained a very significant potential development. The market is still dominated by incumbent Grupo Televisa and Telmex that together have above two-thirds of the subscribers. The 2013 telecom reform laws set up a very new regulator that has enforced some measures which have been aimed at getting rid of the barriers to the foreign investment as well as reducing the market share of dominant operators.
These reforms are going to go far to making Mexico’s telecom market very competitive. The progress was able to be noted in early 2018, the OECD report that highlighted beneficial effects of the telecom sector reform, in particular in helping to reduce cost of the services. The regulatory efforts have been continuing to enforce separation of America’s Movil, the fixed line as well as the Mobile businesses. Broadband sector is the significant development area in Mexico’s telecoms market. Well, despite the market concentration, there have been significant changes underway, with main cable Television providers, mainly Grupo Televisa and Megacable widening the bundled service offerings that they do provide.
There has remained a very significant scope for more market development given the country’s broadband penetration being low while consumer’s prices continue to remain very high. Mobile market has continued to change in the wake of the regulatory efforts to be able to curb market dominance of the Telcel. Regulator has endeavored to encourage the competition through the issuance of additional spectrum, though only the AT&T Mexico and the Telcel got to be eligible to bid for the AWS licenses at the auction that was held in February 2o16, while in the mid-2018, only the Movistar and the AT&T got to be awarded spectrum in 2.5 GHz band. The wholesale mobile network focused at being able to deliver the mobile data as well as the voice to the underserved areas got to be made available for the use in 2018, March, initially getting to cover about a third of population but later to be extended to minimum of 92% by the year 2025. Mid-2018, first operators were able to launch mobile as well as the fixed wireless services on network, as well as the MVNO Virgin Mobile, got to be looking to switch to it from the existing host network.

|Sat Internet Service
I would like to get a complete quote for equipment, installation, and monthly charges for different speed/volume of data options. For a comparison or reality check I would like to know is your 500kbs download speed actual? or is it like the closest local service provider Telmex whom sells a 5mg download speed package that runs at best around 500kbs. With your service will I be clocking 500kbs or 1/10th of what you say 50kbs? I currently live in an area 5 miles outside the range of broadband service with Telmex I only have dial up service available but for months now that has not worked either. Do I need an installation? or can I install the system myself? I have all tools and ability to place equipment but am unsure of finding to actual signal for the best connection possible. I do know a Sat installer maybe he can tune it for me? Address is as close as I can get it for now.
Axtel - BROADBAND INTERNET UP TO 200 MEGABYTES our int. over phone line is too slow

Want to know a quote for TS2 SPACE satellite internet in San Marcos durango mexico.
Hello TS2 SPACE, I am writing on behalf of Global Telecom for Business, since we have an office in Mexico located on Ignacio Ramirez No. 20 Col. Tabacalera Mexico DF 06020, and we want to install there 50/50 Mbps internet fiber. Please note that the contract and payments are going to be arranged from our US office, not from Mexico. Please let us know if you could help us on this matter, and what is the pricing and payment method. Thanks, Mary Peralta
